A winter car routine has two distinct parts: what you do when parking and what you check before leaving. A windscreen cover belongs to the first part. A brush or scraper belongs to the second. Selecting them together can keep the morning more organised, provided the cover fits your vehicle and the tool suits the surface and task.
Measure before choosing a windscreen cover
The Windscreen Snow & Frost Cover range contains several constructions. A vehicle in a photograph illustrates the product; it does not establish universal fit. Compare your glass measurements with the selected cover’s dimensions, shape and securing points before deciding.
The 160 × 116 cm and 150 × 110 cm silver options each have five magnets and no straps. The separate 150 × 120 cm triple-layer style has five magnets and four elastic straps. Those differences matter when deciding how a cover will be secured in your parking space.
Wider coverage changes the construction
The 250 × 150 cm half-car options use straps without magnets, with single- and double-layer choices. The black Oxford option is another separate design, with side-window coverage, six magnets and wind straps. A compact fleece-lined option is also listed. Check its exact photograph rather than borrowing fastening details from another style.
Before fitting any selected cover, remove grit from the glass, cover and vehicle-contact areas. Use the securing features supplied for that style. Remove the cover completely before moving the car, shake away loose snow outdoors and let it dry before folding.
Choose the tool by its head and supplied parts
The car snow brush, ice scraper and shovel range includes individual manual configurations. A telescopic brush is a different selection from a compact scraper or a shovel style. The photographs linked to the selector show which head and parts belong to each option.
DR101-1 to DR101-3 are telescopic brush-and-scraper styles. DR101-4 to DR101-6 are separate 5-in-1 configurations with a broader shovel attachment; DR101-7 to DR101-9 use the telescopic shovel layout. Other families have their own heads, grips and dimensions. One model’s specifications should not be applied to every tool in the listing.
Make surface care part of the routine
Check the tool head for grit and inspect its edge before use. Follow your vehicle maker’s instructions for coated or heated glass. Brush loose snow with light movements, keep hard or metal edges away from paint, seals and trim, and do not force a scraper against glass.
Before driving, finish the vehicle check: clear windows, mirrors and lights, and remove loose roof snow. Dry the tool after use and store it clear of pedals and controls. This is a preparation routine, not a substitute for assessing whether the journey and conditions are suitable.
